December Weekend

This past weekend I got to partake in a lovely tradition with my boyfriends’ family.

I got to help pick out the Christmas tree!

I don’t have a very big family and for as long as I can remember my mum and I have decorated an old, dusty, green plastic tree reattaching braches each year as needed. Since moving out a few years ago, I haven’t lived in a place with any room for a tree.

Naturally when I found out that I was invited to the Christmas tree farm, I was so so excited!

There were a few other trees amongst the pines which were filled with adorable orange butterflies. More then I've ever seen in one place

I ended up picking the tree that we brought home!

It was such a fun and pretty afternoon.
